Star Wars Legacy: Prior to adjectiveless Star Wars, this was always the best selling book in the empire. I expect sales to be strong though there’s been a softening of the other star Wars titles since fans are being given what they really want – Luke, Han, & Leia. This title’s last appearance on the stands was 1st quarter 2011 so not a lot of recent history. Ordering at 50% of Star Wars. Wild Rover: It’s a one-shot unattached to anything else. The downside on unaffiliated one-shots always seems to overwhelm the upside. Ordering for the Oeming fans but leaving the stands open for other things. Batwoman: No Williams art so take that into consideration. Other than that, more of the same. Birds of Prey: A new start under new writer Jim Zub. Pull for Skullkickers fans, if you still have any. Any change on this title is welcome to slow the slide. Catwoman: Dropping. This didn’t seem to retain any DOTF readers and the newest issues underwhelmed. Cutting a bit more. DC Universe Presents: Starring Starfire. Worth a few extra copies. Green Lantern New Guardians: Event fatigue is setting in. Week one sales on the newest issue showed a 10% drop. Justice League: Settling in to its post-Jim Lee numbers. Still doing very well and Ivan Reis is picking up fans with every issue. Very slight drop now that Thrones is over. Justice League of America: #1 sold pretty well though much of that was due to fans buying the regular issue plus their state issue. #2 doesn’t have any of the gimmick so distilling the numbers down,...

Mass Effect Library Edition: No one likes the price. Everyone likes the package and thinks we should carry at least one per store. Some stores will carry more. Mind Mgmt: Ridley Scott is signed on to produce a movie based on this series. Tempering the excitement, EVERYTHING has been optioned for a movie and Ridley Scott has about 400 projects on his slate. Still will generate some eBay sales buzz. Sledgehammer 44: Order and pull for Hellboy. Same writer, same cover artist, same flavor. There will be some push-back on #2 but #1 will likely sell decently. Star Wars: If you haven’t found the ceiling on this (sold out of #2 already) then order up again. This is our top selling Dark Horse book by more than a 2-1 margin. Batgirl: Fans couldn’t abandon this one fast enough as soon as DOTF was over. Throw in 2 fill-in issues and the sales will find a new low. Looking at pre-DOTF numbers. #12, and cutting a bit. Batman: DOTF brought back a lot of Batfans who hadn’t read the title in years. It’s been very good despite some disappointment in the end. Cutting by 15% but holding pretty steady. Batman Combo: I don’t know when the last time I mentioned this was but it’s worth a refresher – Coliseum doesn’t order digital comics for our stands. We don’t want to train out print customers to read comics online so it seems counterproductive to our sales to carry the very format they undermines print reading. Yes, digital may be bringing in new customers but let’s not encourage our print readers to...
