Secret Origins: This should sell better than other series of its type, because the New 52 universe is still so unformed, much the same way the 80s Secret Origins sold well after the post-Crisis reboot. Superman #30: Doomsday boosts Superman’s sales. It’s that simple. Bump your numbers at least 20%. Teen Titans Go!: This is a kids book, and as such, evergreen. We’re selling out, or close to, in the long term. Don’t cut this title quickly. 24: There’s a buzz for the return of the TV show, but this is only going to sell if we get it in front of the right people. Look at your numbers for your other TV tie-ins – Grimm, Castle, etc. – and order accordingly. Danger Girl Mayday: Base on Danger Girl The Chase sales. Dexter’s Laboratory: Base on Powerpuff Girls plus 25% for #1. Godzilla Rulers of the Earth: Keep a close eye on Godzilla sales. It looks like we’re seeing a small spike in sales as long as that trailer is out there. TMNT Ongoing: Ditto this series. Amazing Spider-Man not-so-Epic Collection: What an unneeded collection of semi-connected stories with no seeming purpose. At 34.95 we’ll pass. Avengers Undercover: #1 was a sales lox and we’ve yet to see #2 so this gets a low-number placeholder until I see where #2 takes us. I’m not confident that direction will be up. Elektra: We’re not seeing a lot of staying power with some of the new Marvels but the #1s are selling and selling well. Fans seem to want these books to be good and this book looks like it could...

Post Megacon edition. That means I’m tired, mildly ornery, and can’t feel my feet. My tolerance for stupidity will be remarkably low today. Emily $1 book: The HC for this comes out in May but I’m not a fan of paying for promo items and this is nothing but a promo for the HC at this point. Batman and Wonder Woman: The Batman and… books have been including a lot of Damian-related material. I’m not saying he’s coming back, but if he does, these books may have some demand. Batman Eternal: We won’t have numbers for #1 for 3 weeks, and by that time FOC for issue #4 will have passed. Sinestro: Looking at the obvious GL numbers plus about 20%. Smallville Season 11 Lantern: Order for SS11 Alien plus a few extra for Green Lantern fans. 7th Sword: Samurai books have always done okay. Order a few. Genesis One Shot: Order for any Who is Jake Ellis subs you may have had. GFT Godstorm Hercules: Cover D is the best cover; Cover C is the one that will appeal to the Zenoscope fan. GFT Inferno Age of Darkness: Cover C is the best cover of a bleh bunch. Hulk #1: I’m not a fan of the relaunches as it seems the numbers are right back and worse by issue #3 than they were before yet another ill-timed relaunch. But #1s still sell. Looking at Hulk numbers, which have been low, and doubling them – but that looks low for a Hulk #1. So I’m looking at Moon Knight and thinking Hulk will sell at least that well. Making...

Batrgirl: Despite the beautiful covers on this book, sales are on the downslide since Gothtopia. Batman Eternal: Snyder writes good stories but (always ignore anything before the ‘but’) it’s a weekly series that ‘examines the relationship’… uh oh! Seen those words before and they always seem to spell out a lot of character-driven dialogue without a lot of the plot that Batfans want. BUT this is Snyder so we’ll give that a pass. BUT it’s a weekly series. Ordering like Batman sells, which coincidentally is about 25% higher than Detective 27 sold so we make the incentive for returnability even though I loathe giving away 10% of anything. Mad Variants: Mad seems to have lost it as these look exactly like the regular covers… oh wait, they are the regular covers. Oh well, they are what they are; I just hate it when they show the same cover for all covers. Constantine: Forever Evil is over just Constantine sort of lives in that neighborhood anyways. Dropping 10% but they should maintain if there’s any ongoing audience. However… JLofA: This book was falling before FE and now that FE is over, this wannabee book needs to find its floor. A healthy pruning of 15% should keep the profits flowing. Nightwing: Final issue. Nightwing is dead but Dick Grayson is still alive. Okay. Looks like requiem and aftermath, which always brings in lapsed fans. Usual number plus some. Royals: Ouch. DOA. Superman Wonder Woman: Doomsday. Sales are pretty strong on this book and this should keep them that way. TMNT Annual: Dang funnybooks are getting expensive! But it will still sell...
